Email and B-School
I make a concerted effort to email only if I absolutely HAVE TO. Why? Because email is not the answer to everything. It's not the method by which every message should be communicated. That's just me, and I could be wrong.
That being said, everytime I turn my laptop on, I have a messages galore. If I wanted to, I could go through the MBA program just checking email all day. For example... I checked my email 2 hours and 20 minutes ago. I now have received 26 emails since then. I probably receive at least 100 email messages each day, if not more. 75% of these go straight into oblivion (AKA "recycle bin").
ok, that's my rant for today. Back to accounting and finance for the evening.

are most of these e-mails MBA related? I think that you are being a bit rash about the e-mail thing.. since for people like myself, it's virtually the only F'n way to get a hold of you! So CHILL! ;b
hey hey hey! I am alllll about good ol fashion 'how ya doin' email... but you haven't seen what's been in my pipeline:
- conversation strings that I am not apart of, yet still on the email list
- announcements that clubs I never signed up send
- OR, announcements that I receive 3 times
- Information on the re-org of Columbia's IT department (and about 5 of them...)
... so, I hope you see what I mean now. I am being spammed at Columbia by staff and students.

Its nothing to be mad about. I thought about dropping an email about this to you, so to annoy you further, And I am just dropping you a note.. so that it still goes in as an email... Or shd I resend two or three more to add to the clutter... whtse??
